HUD Community Outreach Partnership Centers

Building PartnershipsEnjoying the National Night Out

The Community Outreach Partnership Center (COPC), also known as SUNY Fredonia/Dunkirk Community Partnerships, is a community-based program intended to build partnerships between residents of Dunkirk’s target area with local organizations and SUNY Fredonia.

Funded through a Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grant, our objective is to utilize the vast resources that exist within SUNY Fredonia in order to build a better Dunkirk.

Assessing Community Needs

We set out to accomplish this by assessing the needs of the area and developing programs that focus on the following urban issues that affect the community:

  1. Community Organizing
  2. Education/Cultural Development
  3. Economic Development/Job Training
  4. Health
