In a long standing tradition, the School of Music spends the afternoon on the last day of classes in an Awards Convocation. It is an opportunity for the School of Music as a whole to come together to celebrate the outstanding work of our students in performance, academics, service and other achievement. Many of the awards are made possible by our many friends and donors, so the awards take many forms, from handshakes to certificates to actual checks. Short performances by our exceptional students punctuate the ceremony.
