The string, woodwind, choral and voice areas of the School of Music combine to present Johann Sebastian Bach's powerful and timeless Saint John Passion. A faculty/alumni orchestra led by David Colwell and David Rose and faculty/alumni soloists join the Fredonia College Choir and the Fredonia Chamber Choir for this powerful expression of the passion of Christ through the eyes and memory of John, son of Zebadee and set by Bach in 1724 (sung in German with English translation provided).

7:00 p.m. Pre Concert Lecture: "Why did Jesus Have to Suffer?" presented by Dale Tuggy, Professor of Philosophy and Coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Minor in Religious Studies.
