The SUNY Fredonia Geosciences Department is hosting the annual meeting of the New York State Geological Association.
The conference is open to anyone interested in earth, environmental or energy sciences. The event will begin with a meet and greet in the Horizon Room of Williams Center from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday with beverages and snacks. Participants are urged to bring a map, rock sample, photo, or other “geo-items” to share. Saturday and Sunday’s activities include five field trips each day and a banquet on Saturday night. All field trips leave each day at 8 a.m. from the parking lot next to the Administrative Office Complex on Ring Road on campus; transportation is by car-pooling or buses.
