PDC Associates Program

The Associates Program calls upon the talents and expertise of SUNY Fredonia’s faculty and staff to offer professional development programming to the campus community. PDC Associates for the 2013 program will offer a series of workshops during the Spring/Fall semesters, and collaborate with PDC staff on the creation of a webcast related to one of his/her workshop offerings.

Interested in becoming a PDC Associate?

 

Our 2013 PDC Associates have been selected.  If you are interested in becoming an Associate for 2014 please check back in the fall. 

PDC Associates will be expected to offer a series of four professional development workshops during the Spring/Fall semesters (two workshops per semester), and collaborate with PDC staff on the creation of a webcast related to one of his/her workshop offerings. Potential program tracks include, but are not limited to:

  • Academic Writing and Publishing
  • Research Methods and Creative Processes
  • Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (Active Learning, Collaborative Learning, Cross-Cultural Teaching & Learning, International Students and Classroom Pedagogy, Multidisciplinary Teaching, etc.)
  • Civic Engagement and Global Connections
  • Community Engagement and Service Learning
  • Sustainability (Environmental, Economic, Academic)
  • Assessment (Student Learning Outcomes, Program Assessment, Institutional Effectiveness, Efficacy and Implications of Assessment)
  • Enrollment, Recruitment and Retention
  • Or, feel free to propose a track!

Associates will receive $750 in extra service pay as compensation.
