Philanthropies Inc.

Sigma Alpha Iota Philanthropies is the charitable arm of SAI. It is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization which encourages music creation through scholarship and promotes musical service in the community and throughout the world. Created in 1974, Philanthropies is supported through college chapters and members of the Symphony Society. Using these donations, SAI offers a variety of monetary grants to deserving individuals. Scholarships, loans, and chapter grants are just a few of the opportunities to help further the creation of music. Other projects are designed to benefit people with disabilities, aid music therapy and string programs, and stimulate new compositions.
Our chapter makes an annual donation to SAI Philanthropies. Read more about Philanthropies on the National Website.
You too, can be a supporter of the arts through SAI Philanthropies. Learn how you can become a member of the Symphony Society through this website or from an informational pamphlet, which can be picked up in the SAI office, room 2036 in Mason Hall. Click here to make a donation!
