Corresponding Secretary

Danielle Smith

Danielle Smith is currently a super-senior at SUNY Fredonia. Although she is primarily trying to finish up her minors during her "victory lap" semester, she is still a Masonite at heart. In fact, she is most frequently seen on campus in the lounge when she isn't at class. Danielle enjoys a variety of things, such as people, plants, computers, making craftsy things with construction paper and glitter, and the movie Finding Nemo. After Fredonia, Danielle plans to take a year off to experience life before she commits to grad school. Although apparently indecisive, the one thing that she is sure she loves is being a sister of Sigma Alpha Iota. Danielle is honored to have served on the Delta Lambda e-board for five semesters, and will continue to profess her sisterly dedication for years to come.
Officer Fun Facts

Favorite Food: Hummus

Favorite Animal: Kittens

Favorite Rush Event: Picnic with the brothers of PMA

Best SAI Memory: My littles' initiations

Why did you join SAI?: Although joining a "sorority" was the last thing I ever pictured myself doing, I've never regretted joining SAI. I was interested in getting involved in the school of music, and I wanted to make more female friends (as most of my pals were guys). Even though I hesitated rushing at first, I've found that it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. So much sisterly love! :)

Christine Hall moderates the SAI listserv. Her duties are similar to the corresponding secretary's, as she posts news and updates from National Headquarters. The listserv also facilitates communication between members.

Past Delta Lambda Corresponding Secretaries have included: Aurora DePaul (2006), Michelle Wilson & Arianna Pallens (2005), and Katie Stivers & Katie Fildes (2004).
