The Seneca Nation/SUNY Fredonia Science & Technology Entry Program, administered by SUNY Fredonia and funded
by the New York State Education Department, seeks to increase the number of historically underserved and
under-represented Native Americans, other minorities and economically disadvantaged 7th through 12th grade
students in Gowanda, Lake Shore, Silver Creek and Salamanca school districts who enroll and persist in
courses related to the science, technical and health-related fields and who enter post-secondary professional
or pre-professional programs in scientific, technical, health or health-related professions.
