Leave of Absence PolicyA leave of absence may be obtained for the following reasons:
A student must have a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average and at least a 2.0 average in his/her major. A leave of absence form can be obtained from the Office of Student Affairs, sixth floor, Maytum Hall. The appropriate academic department chairperson and the Office of Student Affairs make final approval of a leave. Ordinarily, a leave is for one semester or one academic year. Students wishing to return after a leave of absence must contact the Registrar's Office at least one month before the beginning of the semester in which they wish to enroll. Students wishing to course select should consult the Registrar's office for registration information. |
