The Associate Provost also assists the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs with the day-to-day supervision of the following departments:
This office also coordinates all curriculum proposals for the campus, working closely with the department Chairs and college Deans. Local campus curriculum modifications include new course and program proposals as well as changes to programs and courses. The Associate Provost is responsible for shepherding the programs through the State University of New York and New York State Education curriculum approval systems. She is also the point person for the undergraduate and graduate university catalogs, the online Campus Handbook; and the Chairs' Handbook. In addition, the Associate Provost for Curriculum & Academic Support is the liaison for the Army ROTC program offered by the Military Science Department at St. Bonaventure University. She meets and corresponds regularly with the regional representative of the Veterans Affairs Division to verify SUNY Fredonia programs for the G.I. Bill program. |
