Our new online MSDS database is now up and running, and being updated and added to regularly. Don't see your department here yet? It's on the way! Simply go to The Backpack. No user name or password required. If you’re on a campus computer, you’ll automatically be logged in to our collection! For a complete list, choose your department from the drop down box (or choose “All Locations” for a list including all departments) and click on the “MSDS Index” button. To search for a specific MSDS, simply type in the information (such as product name or vendor) and then click on the “Search Now” button. Once you have found the record you are looking for, just click on the product name and the MSDS will load!

Alternatively, if your department is not yet found in The Backpack, you may go to Chemwatch to search for the desired MSDS. NOTE: Please contact the office of EH&S for log in and password
