Accepted Student Open House - Saturday, March 31, 2007 Schedule of Events

Invitations to our Accepted Student Program will be mailed to those students who have been accepted to SUNY Fredonia sometime in March. At that time, we welcome you to join us at a program which will be similar to our other open houses, but with more focus on what's to come as your pursue your studies at SUNY Fredonia.

11:30 - 12:00 -- Registration
Located in King Concert Hall, Rockefeller Arts Center. Entertainment will be provided as you await the start of your day.

12:00 - 12:45 -- Welcome
What are the next steps in your Fredonia journey? Learn about Summer Orientation and residence hall details. Our students speak about their participation in Fredonia programs and activities.

1:00 - 1:50 -- Academic Department Meeting
Meet with your academic department (the major you've been accepted into) to determine what you can expect from your first year and beyond. Discuss internship opportunities, learn about our faculty and ask questions! Liberal Arts (undecided) students have a session specially devoted to their needs, explaining our program to assist you in focusing your academic and career goals.

2:00 - 4:00 -- Campus Tours & Financial Aid Sessions
Walk the campus with Fredonia students. Visit a residence hall and other student facilities you might not yet have seen on tours which depart approximately every 15 minutes beginning at 2 p.m. For those interested in getting a better understanding of their financial aid package, Mr. Daniel Tramuta (Associate Vice President of Enrollment Services) will present two identical financial aid sessions, beginning at 2:15 and 3:15 p.m.
