Congratulations once again on your acceptance to SUNY Fredonia!
Use the information below to assist you in finalizing your plans to enroll on our campus.

Be a Fredonia student for a day! As an accepted student for the Fall semester, we welcome you to our campus for a day or two. Sit in on classes, eat in our dining halls, and stay overnight night in a residence hall--a very popular program! Click here for more information.

If you are a TRANSFER STUDENT who has been ACCEPTED and has PAID your DEPOSIT, the Spring Into Fredonia program is your chance to register for classes early. The program is held Saturday, April 28, 2007. More information is available.

Submit your deposit
Upon being accepted, you have until May 1 or thirty days after your acceptance (which ever is later) to submit your deposit to the Office of Student Accounts, 312 Maytum Hall. Send $50 to hold your place in the class and $50 to reserve a room in the residence halls. For more information consult your "Important Information for Our New Students" brochure.

To be eligible for the largest possible award, the Office of Financial Aid recommends submitting your FAFSA to the Federal Government by the end of January. Award packages will be mailed after mid-March.

If you pay your deposit the Office of Residence Life will mail you an information packet that includes a housing application. You may indicate your preference for residence hall placement, including suite or corridor style, quiet hall, and non-smoking accommodations. Your housing information packet should arrive in late-April.

Housing assignments are made based upon receipt of the Housing Agreement Scan Form, a good incentive to pay your deposit and return your housing preference card quickly.

Transfer students seeking off-campus housing information should contact the Student Association at (716) 673-3381.

All accepted students are invited to attend this open house. Invitations will be mailed in March. Click here for details.

We must recieve final transcripts showing successful completion of your current studies. Freshmen transcript requests are sent directly to the high school. Transfer students should request transcripts from their current college.

You will be sent a Health History form after paying your deposit. Your form must be completed and signed by both you and a health care practioner. If this form is not on record at the Health Center before registration, you will not be permitted to register for classes. Contact the Health Center at (716) 673-3131 or fax (716) 673-3140 for more information.

The Office of Student Accounts will mail payment instruction in mid-July to students who attended Summer Orientation and registered for classes; payment is due in early August. Payment options are listed on the Student Accounts web-site.

The Office of Academic Advising is responsible for your Summer Orientation. It is at orientation that you meet with an academic advisor and create your Fall schedule. Orientation is not mandatory, but highly recommended. Orientation dates are available at the Academic Advising website.

We look forward to seeing you this summer!
