1. Evaluate a significant experience, achievement, risk you have taken, or ethical dilemma you have faced and its impact on you.

2. Discuss some issue of personal, local, national, or international concern and its importance to you.

3. Indicate a person who has had a significant influence on you, and describe that influence.

4. Describe a character in fiction, a historical figure, or a creative work (as in art, music, science, etc.) that has had an influence on you, and explain that influence.

5. A range of academic interests, personal perspectives, and life experiences adds much to the educational mix. Given your personal background, describe an experience that illustrates what you would bring to the diversity in a college community, or an encounter that demonstrated the importance of diversity to you.

Thank you for choosing to apply using the SUNY Application, you must complete all of the steps of the application process to be considered for admissions to SUNY Fredonia.

 

Freshman applicants...

  1. Apply using the online SUNY Application
  2. *Submit SAT or ACT test scores to SUNY Fredonia through either your high school counseling office or through the testing agency
  3. *Submit your high school transcript through your high school counseling office to SUNY Fredonia
  4. Complete your SUNY Common Supplemental Application online. 
  5. *Submit at least one letter of recommendation to SUNY Fredonia using our Teacher/Counselor Recommendation Form

EDP applicants (both freshman & transfer)...

Educational Development Program candidates are asked to choose "Question 6 (Topic of Your Choice)" and answer the question:

"What life circumstance have you experienced that you feel make you a good candidate for the EOP/EDP program?"

Transfer applicants...

  1. Apply using the online SUNY Application
  2. *Forward college transcript(s) to SUNY Fredonia (we must have an official copy from each college you attended)
  3. *Forward your high school transcript and SAT/ACT scores to SUNY Fredonia (used as a resource for advising purposes).
  4. Complete the optional SUNY Common Supplemental Application online. Part II is required for scholarship consideration (3.2 GPA minimum).
