Academic Information Technology (AIT) provides a wide range of essential multimedia services for students, faculty and staff. Staff members are committed to meeting the needs of the campus community by providing instructional equipment through fixed classroom/computer lab installations and portable equipment in addition to supporting video teleconferencing, engineering, graphics services, and the research and implementation of new technologies.
Academic Information Technology is located in Thompson Hall, 2nd Floor. AIT is divided into the following essential services:
Help Desk
A single point-of-contact for administrative, faculty, staff and students' telephone, face-to-face and email requests for assistance relating to computer hardware and software installations and problems.
Media Center
The Media Center provides multi-media support for student and faculty utilizing teaching computer labs, smart classrooms, and regular classrooms and houses the student graphics lab, multimedia equipment, the speech pathology/audiology collection, and a Windows/Macintosh general purpose computer lab.
Graphic Services
Graphic Services provides assistance in planning, producing and executing original art work for faculty teaching, research and publications. Work consists of original illustrations, charts, graphs, flyers, pamphlets, posters, overhead transparencies, slides and signage.
