Frequently Asked E-mail Questions

Q: "I've lost the address to an old friend from Fredonia. Can you send this to me over e-mail?"
A: No. By policy, we cannot give out any information about Fredonia alumni over e-mail, phone, or any other way. Remember this is only to protect our alumni!
Q: "How am I supposed to contact an old friend?"
A: If you write a letter to the person you are interested in contacting, place it in a sealed and stamped envelope with their name on it and send that to us inside another envelope, we will forward it to them. We do not open and read the letter or check it in any way, so be sure to leave some info on how this person can get back to you. If you contact the office we can tell you if we have a current address for the person.
Q: "This information is available in the alumni directory so why won't you give it to me?"
A: When the alumni directory is published, everyone has the option to not be included in the directory. Therefore, we may have an address in our database for someone who does not want that information to be available. The directory was also sold only to other Fredonia alumni and not to the general public. It was verified that everyone that purchased a directory was a graduate of Fredonia.
Q: "Why isn't my e-mail address listed on the alumni web page?"
A: Unless you specifically state that you want your e-mail address to be listed, we will not post it. This is another way to protect our alumni.
