Attention alumni who attended Professor Daniel Roselle's classes in 1952! In 1952, as a faculty member at Fredonia, I asked the students in my classes to think about their futures and to write their predictions of what they thought would happen to them in the years to come. They were to place their letters in separate envelopes and seal them. I told them then that ten or twenty years later I would arrange for a reunion at which each student could open his or her own envelope and see if the predictions had come true. It was a voluntary assignment, but every student wanted to participate. Unfortunately, logistical problems made it impossible to have such a reunion; and - fifty years later - I still have the unopened letters in my file! It is, alas, too late for us to assemble now, but those letters may contain precious memories. So, if any of the students involved (a complete list of their names appears below) would like to have their letters back, I would be happy to return them. Just let me know by e-mail or regular mail if you wish me to send you your sealed letter, and please include your address.
