Junior goaltender Pat Street (Annapolis, Md.) stopped 41 shots in the Blue Devil net. Potsdam's Trevor McNeill made 47 saves.
Sophomore defenseman Chris de Bruyn (Calgary, Alberta) opened the scoring with his second goal of the season at 2:39 of the first period. Assists were credited to freshman forward Bryan Ross (Livonia, Mich.) and sophomore forward Jordan Oye (Richmond, B.C.).
The Bears (5-9-5, 2-4-4 SUNYAC) scored twice early in the third period to erase the Blue Devil lead. Connor Treacy scored his 14th goal of the season :47 seconds into the period.
