CORTLAND, N.Y. -- The Devils suffered a 6-2 road loss at Cortland on Saturday evening.
Fredonia State freshman Bryan Ross (Livonia, Mich./Alpena Jr. A) scored the first goal of the game, and his sixth on the season, at 2:24 to put the Devils up 1-0.
Cortland (7-11-2, 4-5-1 SUNYAC) would take control from there, scoring the game's next six goals. Junior Patrick Palmisano would score four times to give him 13 for the season.
Senior Jeff Sylvester (Windsor, ON/Stratford Jr. B) would score the game's final goal on a power play with 13:40 left to play in the game.
Junior Pat Street (Annapolis, Maryland/The Gunnery School) started in goal for the Devils and made 15 saves before giving way to freshman Kody Van Rentergem (Leduc, Alberta/Brooks Jr. A), who stopped 19 shots.
The Devils fall to 4-12-4 and 2-7-3 in the SUNYAC.
