Hehr scored what proved to be the game-winning goal at 1:12 of the second period for a 3-0 lead. It was his eight goal of the season, and second to win a game. He entered the game leading all SUNYAC freshmen in goals and points and was tied for the freshmen lead nationally (see related story).
