MORRISVILLE, N.Y. -- Fredonia State ended a streak of 13 straight games without a win with a 5-4 SUNYAC victory Friday over the Morrisville State Mustangs.

Sophomore Jordan Oye (Richmond, B.C.) and freshman Billy Sanborn (Monroe, N.Y.) had a goal and two assists each for the Blue Devils (5-12-5, 3-7-4 SUNYAC), who had not won since defeating the Mustangs 5-0 on Nov. 21 at Steele Hall.

Senior Bryan Goudy (Port Huron, Mich.) was credited with the game-winning goal. His fourth goal of the season at 4:43 of the third period put the Blue Devils in front, 5-3.

Freshman Bryan Ross (Livonia, Mich.) and sophomore Chris de Bruyn (Calgary, Alberta) had the other Fredonia State goals.

The Blue Devils outshot the Mustangs (5-18-1, 1-13-1 SUNYAC) by a 42-31 margin. Fredonia State junior goalkeeper Pat Street (Annapolis, Md.) was credited with 27 saves.

Fredonia State closes out its regular season with a pair of home games next weekend -- 7 p.m. Friday vs. Brockport, and 7 p.m. vs. Geneseo.
