Men's hockey 

(COMPLETE 2009-10 ALL-SUNYAC HOCKEY TEAM)

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Three Fredonia State juniors were selected to the 2009-10 SUNYAC Ice Hockey All-Conference Team.

Steve Rizer (Smithtown, N.Y.), a defenseman, was named to the First Team. Making the Honorable Mention list were forward Jordan Oye (Richmond, B.C.) and forward Alex Morton (Cannington, Ont.).

Rizer had 33 points and was third in the nation -- and first in SUNYAC -- in scoring by a defensemen (1.27 points per game). He was also among the D-III leaders in short-handed goals (3; tied for fourth), in assists per game (tied for 11th); and in total scoring (50th).

Oye led the Blue Devils in scoring with 39 points (17 goals, 22 assists), a total which tied him for 13th nationally. His scoring totals in SUNYAC games only were 11 goals and 25 assists for 26 points.

Morton tied for 30th nationally with 36 points (15 goals and 21 assists). His SUNYAC totals were 9-13-22.
