FREDONIA, N.Y. – No. 17 ranked Cortland remained unbeaten in SUNYAC competition with a 14-7 victory Saturday over Fredonia State at University Stadium.
The Red Dragons (7-4 overall) led 7-4 at halftime and then took command with three straight goals to start the second half.
Emily Fink and Amy Simon had two goals each for the Blue Devils (7-2, 1-2 SUNYAC). Katie Monaghan, Morgan McNamara, and Laura Culhane had one goal each.
Brianna Shost had four goals and Danielle Torre had three for the Red Dragons.
The Blue Devils are back in action Tuesday at Brockport.
