POTSDAM, N.Y. -- Fredonia State scored three straight goals early in the second half and hung on for a 10-8 SUNYAC road win over Potsdam.
With the score tied 5-5, Valerie Snider scored the first of the three goals which carried the Blue Devils (8-4, 2-3 SUNYAC) to the win. It came with 26:44 and was followed by goals by Laura Culhane and Katie Monaghan in less than a minute.
Morgan McNamara finished with four goals while six others had one goal each. Goalkeeper Nicole Faulise made seven saves. Carly Richards had three goals for the Bears (6-6, 1-5 SUNYAC).
The Blue Devils will look to make it two wins in as many days when they play host to Morrisville State noon Sunday at University Stadium.
