CORTLAND, N.Y. -- The Blue Devils dropped a SUNYAC road game, 58-47, at Cortland on Friday.
Cortland scored first and led wire-to-wire. Cortland would hold a 27-21 lead at the break.
In the second half, the Devils would pull within five points after a Kyle Mitchell (Lake Luzerne/Hadley Luzerne) jumper made it 34-29 with 12:56 left to play.
James Kane (Buffalo/Bishop Timon) led the Devils with 13 points. Greg MacBride (Clifton Springs/Newark) added 10 points and five rebounds. Joseph Monahan (Floral Park/Holy Cross) added five assists.
Cortland (8-6 overall, 4-3 SUNYAC) was paced by Dustin Marshall with 18 points.
The Devils fall to 6-7 overall and 4-3 in the SUNYAC. They travel to Oswego on Saturday.
