FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Three-point shooting was the decisive difference in Brockport's 67-48 SUNYAC win Saturday over Fredonia State at Steele Hall.
The Golden Eagles (5-9, 1-4 SUNYAC) converted 8 of 14 shots from beyond the arc. Conversely, the Blue Devils (10-6, 4-5) were 1 of 15.
Three Brockport players scored in double figures. Eamon Kays (Mexico) led with 17 points plus a team-high seven rebounds. Mychal Wilkes (Newark) added 16 points and Joe Clarke (Liverpool) had 12.
Fredonia State's Brad Cooper (Monticello) and Julius Bryant (Buffalo/Hutch Tech) had 12 and 11 points, respectively. Bryant and Bryan Morse (Beacon) grabbed seven rebounds each.
