Men's basketball

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. -- Fredonia State evened its SUNYAC record with a 62-47 road win Friday over Morrisville State.

The Blue Devils (11-6, 5-5 SUNYAC) took their first lead, 26-24, on a three-point basket by Brad Cooper (Monticello) and never looked back. Their winning margin was their largest lead of the game.

Senior center Bryan Morse (Beacon) had 13 points and seven rebounds, sophomore guard Julius Bryant (Buffalo/Hutch Tech) added 11 points, and Cooper had seven points and seven rebounds. Senior guard Wayne Davis (Binghamton) collected five steals.

The Blue Devils stay on the road when they visit Plattsburgh for a 6 p.m. tip-off Saturday.
