BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- Brockport's long-range shooting carried it to a 87-67 SUNYAC home win over Fredonia State.

The Golden Eagles outscored the Blue Devils (13-7, 7-6 SUNYAC) from beyond the arc, 39-12, on 13 of 29 three-pointers. Six different Brockport players had at least one trey.

Julius Bryant (Buffalo/Hutch Tech) led Fredonia State with 20 points and six rebounds, while Wayne Davis (Binghamton) and Kevin Saunders (Batavia) had 11 points each.

Fredonia State held its last lead of the game with 1:24 remaining in the first half. A layup by Davis put his team on top, 31-29. Brockport's Joe Clarke countered with a three-point basket as his team regained the lead, 32-31, with :51 left before intermission.

In addition to the disparity in three-pointers, the Blue Devils were also outscored 16-5 from the foul line. On the upside, Fredonia State converted 29 of 50 field-goal attempts, a respectable 58 percent.

The Blue Devils are back at home Tuesday when they play their final non-conference game of the regular season, 7 p.m. at Dods Hall.
