FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Fredonia State scored early and often Saturday en route a 9-0 SUNYAC home win over Morrisville State.

Outshooting their opponent by a 27-6 margin, the Blue Devils (7-4-0, 1-3-0 SUNYAC) led from the third minute on.

For the second straight game, junior Ryan O'Donnell (Orchard Park) had a multiple-point game with three goals -- including his team's first at 2:29 of the first half -- and two assists. He had three goals and one assist Tuesday vs. Nazareth.

Eight other Blue Devils entered into the scoring column in support of senior goalkeeper Andy Feldmann (Silver Creek). Making his first collegiate start, Feldmann had three saves in 75 minutes of duty. Bobby McGinnis (Elmira/Elmira Free Academy), a freshman, played the final 15:14.

Offensively, sophomore Peter Dagel (Rochester/Gates-Chili) had two goals and one assist, sophomore Eric Kurzdorfer (Derby/St. Francis) had one goal and one assist, and three players had one goal each: sophomore Eli Lubberts (Ontario/Wayne), freshman Matt Grabowski (Victor), and freshman David Thoin (Buffalo/St. Joe's). The goals were the first as collegians for both Grabowski and Thoin.

In addition, junior Jack Flechaus (Brockport) collected two assists.

The Blue Devils remain in the SUNYAC mode for their next six games starting with a road trip next Friday at Oswego.
