FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State track and field team returns to competition Saturday at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
The Blue Devils have been idle since Dec. 5 and Dec. 6, when they competed at the Golden Flash Gala at Kent State University. In that meet, 26 Blue Devils punched their tickets to the SUNYAC championship meet Feb. 28. They did so in 30 separate events.
"We have had a good week of practice," Blue Devil head coach Liz Aldrich said. "We are looking forward to the meet at RIT."
The meet will mark the return of two Blue Devil women from first-semester injuries -- distance runner Sarah Furman (West Berne/Berne-Knox-Westerlo) and sprinter Laura Dickerman (Corning/Corning-Painted Post West).
