FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The State University of New York Athletic Conference's recently released list of top student-athletes included 95 Fredonia State winter and spring team members.
The Blue Devils placed 92 student-athletes on the All-Academic Team and 38 on the Commissioner's List; 35 qualified in both categories. The teams included were baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's ice hockey, women's lacrosse, men's swimming and diving, women's swimming and diving, softball, men's track and field, and women's track and field.
In order to qualify for the Commissioner’s List, a student-athlete must complete the season as a varsity athlete and must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.3 for at least three semesters. The All-Academic Team honors varsity athletes who have earned a minimum 3.3 grade point average for the semester in which they competed.
