GENESEO, N.Y. -- Fredonia State was shut out in both ends of its SUNYAC doubleheader Sunday with SUNY Oneonta.
The Blue Devils (14-19-1, 6-14 SUNYAC) collected eight hits total in the two losses, 8-0 and 12-0. Katie Turvey (Lockport/Depew) had a hit in each game, Fredonia State's only player with more than one hit.
It was the final SUNYAC action this spring for the Blue Devils, who'll close out the season with doubleheaders Monday vs. Alfred and Tuesday vs. nationally ranked University of Rochester. Game time is 3:30 p.m. Monday, 3 p.m. Tuesday.
