Swimming & Diving 

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Teams from 10 colleges and universities will compete over the next three days at the sixth annual Fredonia State Blue Devil Invitational inside the Steele Hall Natatorium.

In addition to the host Blue Devils, the following teams will participate: Alfred State, Baldwin-Wallace, Brockport, Frostburg State, Monroe Community College, Oswego, Penn State Behrend, Pitt-Bradford, and Saint Vincent College.

The single Friday session is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. There will be 10 a.m. sessions both Saturday and Sunday, with a second session each day -- 5 p.m. Saturday, 4 p.m. Sunday. (Click here for the order of events)

The Saturday sessions have been chosen by the Fredonia State team for its Swimming for a Cure in conjunction with the American Cancer Society's Lung Cancer Awareness Month in December. Donations will be taken at the door and-shirts signed by Olympians Aaron Peirsol, Brendan Hansen, Ian Crocker and Garret Weber-Gale will be raffled off. All student-athletes will wear white caps to raise lung cancer awareness. The event is spearheaded by Blue Devil seniors Taylor Kelly and Mike Seay.

Results will be posted each day on the Fredonia State athletics website.

The pre-meet psyche sheet was released Thursday.
