FREDOFredonia State senior Heather Robin competes in springboard diving at the 2010 SUNYAC championship meet in Buffalo, N.Y.NIA, N.Y. --Fredonia State senior springboard diver Heather Robin (Dansville) is one of seven SUNYAC student-athletes to receive Chancellor's Awards for the 2009-10 winter season.

The awards are given annually in each sport to a first or second All-Conference Team member with the highest grade-point average of 3.3 or better. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least three semesters completed.

A childhood education major, Robin was chosen Second Team All-SUNYAC after finishing third in 3-meter springboard diving and fourth off the 1-meter board at the conference championship meet last month. There were 24 women total named to the First and Second teams.

In addition, Robin became the seventh Fredonia State student-athlete to win a seasonal Chancellor's Award since the honors were reinstated by SUNYAC in 2003-04. The other recipients were: Katie Remus, 2003 women's soccer; Aimee Baxter, 2004 women's lacrosse; Enjoli Burse, 2005-06 cheerleading; Stephanie DeGolier, 2006 volleyball; Scott Horsington, 2006-07 and 2007-08 men's swimming and diving; and Alex Palmquist, 2008-09 men's swimming and diving.
