Women's tennis
ALFRED, N.Y. -- Fredonia State junior Megan Zarzycki (Rochester/Irondequoit) earned her team's only point Wednesday in an 8-1 Blue Devil women's tennis loss to Alfred University.
Zarzycki was victorious in the No. 2 singles match and teamed with freshman Lauren Shirley (Homer/Cortland) to play in the closest doubles match.
The Blue Devils (3-7) had several starters out of action. The team is back in action Friday at SUNY Cortland.
