Women's tennis 

FREDONIA, N.Y.  -- Fredonia State fell to 0-2 with a 9-0 home loss Wednesday to Penn State Behrend.

Two Blue Devil singles players, Calee Prindle (Geneva) and Megan Zarzycki (Rochester/Irondequoit), won six games each in their respective matches. They also combined to win three games in their doubles match. Katrina Johnston (Fredonia) came closest to winning a set before falling 6-4 in her match.

The Blue Devils return to action Friday in the first of four matches during SUNYAC Pool Play in Binghamton and Syracuse.
