WOMEN'S RESULTS
MEN'S RESULTS

HAMILTON, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State track and field teams participated in the Colgate Invitational on Saturday.

For the men, Nick Guarino (Byron-Bergen) won the 1,000-meter in SUNYAC-record time of 2:27.59. A pair of Devils finished with seconds - Eddie Novara (Angola/Lake Shore) in the 3,000 m with a personal best of 8:35.34, and Mac McMahill (Hemlock/Livonia) in the 800 m in a time of 1:56.06.

A pair of thirds were also turned in: Webster Thomas (Windsor, Conn./St. George's College) in the 60 m dash (7.15 seconds), and Broncho Rollins (Ithaca) in the pole vault (14’6’’).

For the women, Jessica Gniazdowski (Arcade/Pioneer) was the top individual, with third place finish in the pole vault at 9’6’’. Chelsea Caruso (Falconer) finished seventh in the same event, with a height of 9’.

Jackie Majka (Cheektowaga/Depew) turned in three top-six performances. She was fifth in the long jump (4.95 m), sixth in the high jump (1.5 m) and sixth in the triple jump (10.15 m).

Rhea Williams (Windsor) finished eighth in the 400 meter run in a time of 1:03.96.
