MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Fredonia State's early season struggles continued Tuesday with a 25-19, 25-22, 21-25, 25-22 loss to Allegheny.
Audrey Zimmerman (East Aurora) was the leader at the net for the Blue Devils (4-6) with 14 kills, while Kaitlin Erdmann (Randolph) added nine kills and Lindsey Olson (Portville) had six.
Sarah Zureck (Lancaster/St. Mary's) was credited with 23 digs while Brittany Lis (Lancaster) had 26 assists and 17 digs. Jessica Ernstberger (Rochester/Greece Arcadia) collected 14 assists.
The Blue Devils made 20 services errors.
The Blue Devils return to action Friday at the RIT Tournament against the University of Rochester and Ithaca College.
