ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Fredonia State defeated two SUNYAC schools Saturday on the second day of the RIT Invitational.
The Blue Devils defeated Oneonta in the first match (25-23, 25-20, 25-19) and Brockport in the second (26-24, 25-17, 25-22).
Kaitlin Erdmann (Randolph) had eight kills and two blocks in the Oneonta match. Audrey Zimmerman (East Aurora) added six kiills, and Danielle McNeil (West Seneca/St. Mary's) collected 12 digs. Against Brockport, Becca Zimmerman (Jamestown) had seven kills and two blocks, while Audrey Zimmerman added six kills, three blocks, and three service aces. Jennifer Michelsen (Lakeview/Frontier) led the Blue Devils with 13 digs, while Brittany Lis (Lancaster) had 19 assists and seven digs.
The Blue Devils will play Brockport again next weekend during SUNYAC Pool Play at Brockport.
