ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State volleyball team dropped a hard-fought match at Nazareth, 3-2, on Wednesday evening.
Nazareth (14-6), winners of six straight, claimed the match with scores of 25-14, 21-25, 25-17, 23-25, and 15-13.
For the Devils (9-10), Brittany Lis had 19 digs, 17 assists and one block; Jen Reese had six kills and three blocks; Lindsay Olson had 10 kills and 14 digs; and Sarah Zureck had 19 digs.
The Devils play host to the Blue Devil Classic in Dods Hall this weekend. In addition to the Devils, Cortland, Gallaudet, St. John Fisher, Ithaca and Elmira will participate in the six-team tournament.
