GENESEO, N.Y. -- The Blue Devils dropped a 49-45 road decision at Geneseo on Tuesday.

An Angela Pucciarelli layup with 1:16 left to play tied the game at 43-all. Geneseo's Tracy Wangelin would connect on a three-pointer with :28 left to put the Knights up for good, 46-43.

Wangelin added a pair of free throws with :19 left and Katelyn Charbonneau connected for a free throw to put Geneseo up 49-43. Pucciarelli scored the game's final points with :03 left to give the final.

Geneseo broke open a tight game with a 13-4 run to close the first half, leading 27-18.

The Devils responded in the second half, opening with a with a 13-2 run to take a 31-29 lead with 13:18 left.

The teams would trade the lead four more times, the last Devil lead, 40-39, coming with 3:18 left following a Caroline Hourihan three-pointer.

Charbonneau led the Knights (4-11, 1-5 SUNYAC) with 12 points and Wangelin finished with 11 points, 12 rebounds and five steals. Bridget Riley grabbed 14 boards. 

The Devils (7-8, 1-6)  were paced by Pucciarelli with 12 points. Hourihan had 10 points, five assists and four steals. Merissa Gaeta fiished wth nine points and 14 rebounds.
