BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Fredonia State fell to Buffalo State, 64-59, despite a double-double by Blue Devil senior Katie Landy (Jamestown/Southwestern).

Fredonia State led 34-28 at halftime and opened up three double-digit leads in the second half, the largest of 51-40 on a three-point play by senior Maya Jordan (Bronx/DeWitt Clinton) with 7:54 remaining. The Blue Devils were outscored 24-8 the rest of the way, including 6-0 during decisive stretch late in the game.

Fredonia State's Grace Moore (Fredonia) knocked down two three-point baskets on consecutive possessions to cut the Buffalo State lead to 61-59 with 27 seconds left. The Bengals closed out the scoring with two free throws by Kristin Ritch and one by Staci McElroy.
