FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Angela Pucciarelli had 23 points to lead Fredonia State over Hilbert, 79-29, in non-conference women's basketball at Steele Hall.
Pucciarelli, a senior from Fredonia, was 10 of 19 from the field, including 3 of 8 from beyond the three-point arc. She also grabbed five rebounds and had four steals.
Junior forward Katie Landy (Jamestown/Southwestern) added 15 points and a team-high eight rebounds, while senior guard Leisel Renaud (Brooklyn/Humanities Prep) had 12 points in reserve.
The Blue Devils, up 19-0 at one point, improved to 6-3 while Hilbert fell to 0-10. Julie Bossard (Arkport/Canisteo-Greenwood) led the Hawks with eight points and 10 rebounds.
Fredonia State is back in action Tuesday at Geneva College.
