FREDONIA ST. 68, ALLEGHENY 60

Fredonia, N.Y. -- The Devils won their third straight contest, defeating Allegheny College, 68-60, in Dods Hall on Sunday.

Katie Landy (Jamestown) poured in 22 points and added nine rebounds to lead the Devils. The Devils also received double-doubles from Grace Moore (Fredonia) -- 12 points and 10 rebounds -- and Caroline Hourihan (Buffalo/Nardin) -- 10 points and 10 boards. Merissa Gaeta (Kirkwood/Windsor) added 13 rebounds and four blocked shots.

The Devils held a commanding edge on the glass, outrebounding the Gators, 59-27. They also shot a sizzling 14 of 16 from the free throw line.

The Gators, now 4-4, got 17 points from Jill Gregory, and 10 apiece from Brit Bell and Heidi Goeller.

The Devils are off until January 4th, when they play host to D'Youville College
