Boxscore: BLUE DEVILS 64, ROCKPORT 51

BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- A strong second half powered the Devils as they cruised to a 64-51 road win at Brockport, picking up a key SUNYAC victory. The win gave the Devils a season sweep of Brockport

Brockport led 28-24 late in the first half. From there, the Devils scored the final seven points of the period to take a 31-28 lead into the break. The Devils then opened the second half with a 14-2 run, to make 45-30.

For the game, Fredonia State nailed eight of 13 shots from three-point land, including seven of eight in the second half. Conversely, Brockport was four of 18 from three-point range.

Brockport (4-15, 2-10 SUNYAC) was led by Rachel Csakany with 15 points. Rebecca Monteith added 10 points.

The Devils (9-8, 5-6 SUNYAC) were led by senior Merissa Gaeta (Kirkwood/Windsor) with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Freshman Grace Moore (Fredonia) added 13 points and six rebounds.

Next up for the Devils is a road trip to the North Country to take on Plattsburgh and Potsdam this weekend.
