Devils earn first NCAA regional ranking

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Fredonia State is ranked No. 6 in the most recent NCAA Division III East Region poll. It's the first time the Blue Devils have earned an NCAA regional ranking.
Also ranked in the NCAA East Region rankings are SUNYAC sister schools Oneonta and Brockport. Oneonta is No. 1 while Brockport is No. 7.
Fredonia State and Brockport meet at 6 p.m. Friday at University Stadium.
The Blue Devils --11-4-1 heading into the weekend -- are also No. 9 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, up one spot from the last week. Oneonta is No. 5 and Brockport No. 8 on the NSCAA list.
