FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Fredonia State freshman forward Reilly Condidorio (LeRoy) has added an NCAA Division III regional award to her growing resumé.

She was recently selected Second Team New York Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The awards are co-sponsored by adidas.

Previously, Condidorio was selected SUNYAC Rookie of the Year -- the first Blue Devil to win the award -- and First Team All SUNYAC. She was the only freshman named to any of the 2008 women's soccer All SUNYAC teams.

She is also the first Blue Devil freshman to receive NSCAA/adidas all-region recognition, and just one of five freshmen selected among the 34 regional honorees. It is the fourth straight year at least one Fredonia State woman has been recognized.

"Reilly had an incredible freshman season," Fredonia State head coach Chris Case said. "She brings a lot to the team (and) not just goal-scoring. Her work ethic and unselfishness and two characteristics that come to mind."

Condidorio led the Blue Devils with 27 points, two points shy of the single-season school record, on 10 goals and seven assists. She is the first Blue Devil to accumulate double-digit goals since 1998.

"Reilly is someone who never gives up on something, wheter it is a practice or game situation," Case said. "(She) will only get better (because) she is extremely coachable and a great learner of the game. She is always trying to be creative with the ball and learning and perfecting new moves."
