WCVF on the road with hockey team

FREDONIA, N.Y. – Campus-community radio station WCVF (88.9 FM) finalized plans today to broadcast both Fredonia State road hockey games this weekend.

Student announcers Joshua Burrows and Evan Franchi will handle the call of the games Friday at Oswego, and Saturday at Cortland.

Game time each night is 7 p.m.

The broadcasts have been made possible through the efforts of student officers and the faculty advisor of Fredonia Radio Systems, which oversees the operation of WCVF, and of the Fredonia State Department of Athletics.

WCVF is currently unable to stream content onto the Internet. However, Blue Devil hockey fans living outside of Northern Chautauqua County can still listen to webcasts both nights.

The Blue Devils at Oswego game will be webcast by SUNY Oswego student-run station WNYO.

The Blue Devils at Cortland game on Saturday will be webcast by Salt City Sports. Listening instructions, if needed, can be found at http://hometown.aol.com/saltcitysports.
