Kyle Adams (Naples/Naples) had two doubles, Dan Mullen (Port Ewen/Kingston) and RBI double and a single, and Trey Johnson (Gerry/Cassadaga Valley) an RBI single among his two hits for the Blue Devils (1-8). On the downside, control troubles plagued starting pitcher Shawn Ridgway (Wayne/Ontario) and reliever Noah Huard (Buffalo/City Honors). That was upset by three innings of scoreless relief by Doug Cap (Niagara Falls/Niagara Catholic). The Blue Devils close out their Florida trip with doubleheaders Wednesday and Thursday vs. Oberlin and Colby, respectively.
