Devils drop two

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Fredonia State was swept by Brockport by scores of 10-1 and 5-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The Devils managed only six hits in the double-dip. Dan Taurisani (Utica/Proctor) collected two hits.

Brockport pitchers Rob Maxwell and Jared Perham combined on a 10-1 victory in the first game and Jason Shannon tossed a complete-game, two-hitter for a 5-0 victory in game two.

The Brockport offense was led by Sean Davis with four hits, including three doubles.
